Job summary

Edgewood Hermantown is seeking a Part-Time Cook for the Day shift to prepare meals that meet residents' needs and expectations. You’ll work in a caring setting and contribute to a positive dining experience for our senior living community.

You’ll follow established menus, participate in event meal prep, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and compliant with safety standards. Training will be provided, and benefits include PTO and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Active ServSafe Certification is required; Edgewood will provide any necessary training.
• Passion and drive for helping others.
• Willingness to train new employees.
• Desire to continue learning and improving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff and guests per menus/recipes.
• Plan and prep meals for resident and employee events.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with budgeting, inventory, and production control.
• Follow HIPAA and Edgewood policies.

As a Cook at Edgewood, you’ll prepare meals and provide an outstanding dining experience for the most amazing folks on the planet – our residents!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
