Job summary

Greenville Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals and supervise operations when the Dietary Supervisor is absent. You will follow approved menus and dietary guidelines while ensuring a clean, safe kitchen.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cooking experience in healthcare or long-term care, with ServSafe certification and knowledge of food safety and dietary needs. PCC experience is a plus, and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary needs.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Follow special and therapeutic diets and texture-modified meals where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Monitor and record food temperatures and portion control.
• Assist with meal service and food presentation.
• Collaborate with dietary team and other departments.
• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
