Job summary

Avera Granite Falls Hospital is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare, cook, serve, and distribute meals for patients, staff, and visitors. You will follow approved menus, ensure safety and sanitation, meet time schedules, and contribute to excellent patient experiences.

You'll work primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays, with the support of a multidisciplinary team. Required are a MN driver’s license, High School diploma or GED, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Must have visual acuity to perform position duties and communicate effectively with others.
• MN Driver's License required upon hire.
• ServSafe certification required upon hire.
• Less than 1 year of food service/cooking education or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items for patients, staff, and visitors according to menus.
• Meets standards for food preparation, sanitation, and efficiency.
• Delivers products according to schedule and assists with cleaning.
• Provides excellent customer service using established scripts.
