Job summary

Glen Mills Senior Living - A Personal Care and Memory Care Facility is seeking a Cook/Chef to join our compassionate team. You will prepare and serve meals for residents, label and store food per health standards, and assist with daily menus and substitutions as needed.

Part-time position with every other weekend, offering a paid training program, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Serv Safe preferred and a strong commitment to resident well-being is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking for seniors or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Must follow Health Department and company standards for food storage and labeling.
• Serv Safe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for all mealtimes and special events.
• Label and store food according to Health Department and Company standards.
• Responsible for portion control and meal prep for each resident's needs.
• Assist with daily menus and substitutions as necessary and support kitchen supervisor.
• Maintain all required certifications and training.

We are looking for great Cooks/Chefs to join our staff. Must enjoy working with the elderly. Prepare and serve delicious quality meals for all mealtimes and special events. Label and store food according to Health Department and Company standards. Responsible for portion control and meal prep for each resident's needs. Helps Supervisor kitchen staff. Assists with daily menus and food substitutions when necessary. Maintains all certifications required.

*Serv Safe preferred

Schedule: Part-time and every other weekend
Salary: $18.00-20.00/hr
