Job summary

Franklin Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a full-time Cook to join the kitchen team. The role involves preparing meals for patients, guests, residents and staff, while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation and operating kitchen equipment safely.

The position offers 36 hours per week with day shifts and alternating weekends. A high school diploma or GED and a food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) are required or will be obtained within 3 months of hire; one year of food

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.

Franklin Hospital is seeking a full time Cook to join their team!

Summary

This position consists of 36 hours per week, day shifts with alternating weekends.

The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.
