Job summary

Ingleside, a Colony Court Senior Living community, is hiring a part-time Cook to prepare dining areas, serve meals, and maintain kitchen cleanliness on rotating weekend shifts. The position offers weekend rotations and a base hourly rate based on experience.

The role requires fluent English and a basic understanding of food safety. Candidates should be able to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced senior care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read and write fluently in English.
• Knowledge of food safety and food preparation preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare dining areas with utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages for meal service.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with dining service needs.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces. Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and completing additional assigned duties.
