Job summary

Kenmore Senior Living in Kenmore, WA is seeking a Cook to join our Culinary department. You will design nutritious menus, prepare meals, and ensure high quality and safety standards for our senior residents.

Responsibilities include collaborating with dietary staff, innovating dish ideas, and maintaining strict food safety practices while working a schedule that includes weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook in a similar culinary environment, preferably within a senior living community or healthcare setting.
• Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create and prepare high-quality meals.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Experience in volume-batch cooking.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• High School diploma or equivalent: A diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
