Job summary

Medicalodges, Inc is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals for residents in our facility. Follow menus, portion sizes, and safety procedures to ensure quality.

You will help set up dining areas, serve meals, record temperatures, and maintain a clean kitchen. Previous food-service experience and attention to sanitation preferred; we value reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Follow basic cooking directions.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks for residents following menus and guidelines provided.
• Set up serving area, salad bar, and dining rooms prior to meals.
• Record temperatures of food and equipment as required.
• Chart intakes in the main dining room.
• Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize dining area and kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
• Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal.
• Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• Preparing trays for serving meals and snacks.
