The Arbor Company’s Arbor Terrace Delray is hiring a Full-Time Cook in Delray Beach, FL. Join a team dedicated to delivering delicious meals and a caring dining experience for residents.

You will prepare meals, follow therapeutic diets, ensure safety and quality, assist with ordering and storage, and work closely with the Dining Director to support daily service and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in restaurant/healthcare or senior living settings.
• Culinary training or degree is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling practices.
• Experience cooking for large groups is preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic or special diets is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
• Positive attitude and passion for serving others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality meals using established recipes and rotating menus.
• Follow therapeutic diets and dietary modifications when needed.
• Prepare food safely while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Assist with food ordering, receiving, storage, inventory rotation, and organization.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards per guidelines.
• Complete temperature logs and kitchen documentation.
• Collaborate with Dining Director and culinary team for smooth service.
• Contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for residents daily.

What You'll Do
