Morning Pointe Senior Living in Danville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner items with attention to taste, safety, and presentation in a resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
• Restock items as needed and support dish station when required.
• Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.

We are looking for:

Prep Cooks are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their scheduled station whenever necessary including expediting food and assisting in the dish station. As part of a team-oriented environment, Cooks assist in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need.
