Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Cook to lead our kitchen operations and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to our residents. In this role, you will oversee food preparation, coordinate meal service timing, and supervise dietary aides to maintain exceptional standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Production: Prepare all served food according to standard recipes and specialized diet orders; plan food production to coordinate seamlessly with meal serving hours.
• Safety & Sanitation: Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering strictly to all sanitation and food production codes.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to ensure a safe, sanitary workspace.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and guide dietary aides to ensure all daily assignments are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification: Active ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience: Prior or current experience in cooking and supervisory roles (experience with bulk or large-group food preparation is highly desirable).
• Skills: Strong passion for culinary care, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen safety and food quality.
