Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will work with our culinary team to prepare food, follow recipe cards and standards, and ensure quality and consistency.

The role requires checking pars, prep, and line setup, with a focus on reducing waste and maintaining buffet stock. Flexibility with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends is important, as is attention to detail, teamwork, and time management.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing Each Day

• As a Line Cook, you will be working with our culinary team prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
• Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up. Note any out of stock items or possible shortages. Assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss, and usage per Crescent standards.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $27.09 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $27.09 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
