Job summary

Parkridge Valley is seeking a compassionate Cook to join the Food & Nutrition team. The role focuses on enhanced preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies, delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.

You will prepare foods per recipes for patient meals, retail areas, and events, read production sheets to forecast needs, and uphold confidentiality and patient rights policies while supporting the facility's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent.
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctor's lounge, or for catered events.
• Read production sheets and forecast production needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Demonstrate competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and integrate ethics in all areas of practice.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food & Nutrition Cook will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for enhanced preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
