The Residence at Carlisle is seeking a dedicated Cook to craft flavorful, balanced meals for our residents. You will work with the Dining Services team to meet dietary needs and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and presentation.

You will follow community recipes, assist with menus and events, keep the kitchen clean, and ensure timely meals while delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Summary:

As a Cook, you will play a key role in crafting flavorful, balanced meals that support the health and happiness of our residents. Working closely with our Dining Services team, you’ll prepare a variety of meals to meet resident preferences, dietary restrictions, and high standards for quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires a commitment to providing consistent, exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present meals according to community recipes and following various dietary restrictions and requests.
• Ensure high standards of taste, texture, temperature, and presentation of every dish.
• Collaborate with the dining team to plan and execute daily menus, special events, and holiday meals.

Requirements

Education:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a hot kitchen environment.

• Ability to navigate kitchen areas safely, which can include frequent walking, bending, stretching, squatting, and twisting.
