AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Orrville Hospital is seeking a full-time Cook to join our team. Starting pay is based on experience and education, with weekend pay incentives included. The role involves cooking from scratch for patients and guests and requires adherence to basic food safety standards.

The successful candidate will be part of an exceptional Culinary Team, follow directions, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while delivering quality meals across shifts.

Formación

• Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well independently.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality food products by following directions and recipes.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume to keep production consistent.
• Assist with new partner training and provide coaching as needed.

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Orrville Hospital is seeking an applicant for a Full-time Cook with open & closing shift availablility. Starting pay rate will be based on level of experience and education with weekend pay incentives included. The candidate will be part of a team that cooks from scratch for our Patients and Guests. Applicants should have an understanding of basic food safety. Positive attitude, teamwork, a desire to succeed, and the ability to get things done are a must.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide quality food products consistently by following directions and adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep production consistent to our standards and to set a positive example for the shift team
• Have a desire to learn and grow.
• Follow AVI operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Maintain and foster positive and professional working relationships
• Other duties and responsibilities as necessary
• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
• Contributes to positive team environment
• Works with an exceptional Culinary Team including an experienced Executive Chef.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience
• Required to follow and give written and verbal instructions
• Ability to learn quickly and work well independentlyAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
