Job summary

The Skinny Pancake is seeking a Cook for our UVM campus restaurant in Burlington, VT. Full-time and part-time team members are welcome to apply.

You’ll contribute to a casual, fast-paced environment, receive comprehensive paid training, and help deliver outstanding guest experiences. Competitive hourly pay range of $15–$19, depending on experience, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision options, shift meals, 401k, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Cook crepes, food prep, and line work.

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to sanitation procedures.

As a Cook at our UVM campus restaurant, you’ll be a valued and integral part of our team from day one. You’ll have comprehensive, paid training while working with a team that values compassion, community stewardship, accessibility, work ethic, and FUN. We are looking for full-time and part-time team members.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform opening and closing duties
• Prepare and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Food prep, cooking, crepe spinning, dishwashing and cleaning
• Handle multiple orders simultaneously so food is served together, meet targeted ticket times
• Utilize recipes and portion control
• Follow sanitation procedures
• Perform general cleaning and restocking
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests
• Balancing high volume with high quality
• Work in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
