Job summary

Provincial Senior Living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will prepare hot and cold menu items, work across the grill, sauté, and salad-bar, and support line service in a busy senior living community.

We value attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends. Prior senior living experience and food safety familiarity are preferred, with competitive wages and benefits available to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or culinary operations preferred.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare food service is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving per menu cycle and recipes.
• Taste test and monitor quality and palatability of dishes.

Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.
