A leading food service provider is seeking a dedicated cook to implement menus and coordinate food preparation in an institutional setting. The ideal candidate will ensure meals are nutritionally balanced and appetizing while supervising kitchen staff and maintaining cleanliness. This role requires strong food preparation skills and experience in institutional food service.
Under general direction, implement menus and coordinate food preparation and serve meals.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional education or training in the culinary field preferred. Two or more years’ experience in a food service role in preparing food for institutions such as schools, hospitals, or cafeterias preferred.
ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state or facility.
