Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management is seeking a reliable Cook to support our senior living communities. You will set up stations, prepare ingredients, cook meals, and ensure sanitary, organized kitchen operations for residents in our care facilities.

Responsibilities include checking ingredient quality, maintaining stock, presenting dishes well, and collaborating with team members to meet dietary and safety standards. Healthcare experience is a plus and high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals for large groups (80+ residents/guests).
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary background will be an advantage.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
