Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital - Beachwood is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for patients, staff and guests in a hospital setting. You will support a clean kitchen, ensure proper portion control, and assist in supervising dietary staff when needed.

The role requires attention to sanitation and patient-centered service. We value hands-on cooks with at least one year of cooking experience, and prefer candidates with a culinary degree or food-safety training.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cooking experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods for patients, staff and guests.
• Assist with general cleaning of the cooking and eating areas.
• In the absence of the Manager, supervise dietary staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Maintain sanitation, safety and infection control policies.
• Accept verbal and written instructions.

You will prepare foods for patients, staff, and guests, and may assist with general cleaning of the cooking and eating areas.
