Job summary

Eastside Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Bangor, ME is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals that meet dietary needs for residents. You will follow prescribed menus, maintain safety and sanitation, and collaborate with dietary staff to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Safe knife handling skills.
• Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, large blenders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions for the safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
