Job summary

Winship Green, affiliated with National Health Care Associates, is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in Bath, Maine. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience as a cook in healthcare or long-term care, and strong knowledge of food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Safe knife handling skills.
• Experience operating commercial slicers, ovens, grills, large blenders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions for the safe use, cleaning and care of dietary equipment, preparation and service areas.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
