Northern Pines Medical Center is seeking a food service teammate to prepare nutritious foods and support daily kitchen operations in Nutrition Services. You will follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and assist with stocking and cleaning in a hospital setting.

Required: at least 6 months in kitchen preparation or one year in institutional food service. Shift rotates Day/Eve; union: Northern Pines Hospital AFSCME.

Job Description:

Education Qualifications:This position provides high quality appealing and nutritious foods to customers through food service through large and small scale cooking, baking and, basic food preparation, general cleaning and stocking of food services areas. Properly uses and cares for institutional food service equipment. Strictly adheres to infection control guidelines during food handling to prevent food contamination. Carefully follows Dietary recipes, guidelines, and departmental policies.
Work Experience:
6 months experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
Quantity food cooking experience or minimum of one-year experience working in an institutional food services department.
