Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a PRN Cook to join our caring team. You will prepare meals, ensure dietary needs are met, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality for residents.

This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities to grow and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents in skilled nursing care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
