Job summary

Homestead of Abilene Assisted Living is seeking cooks to join our kitchen staff, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. We offer competitive salaries and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

As a Cook, you will work under the supervision of the community's Dietary Manager, preparing foods per menu and diet breakdowns, ensuring high-quality and sanitary preparation, and maintaining timely service

• Prepares various foods depending on menu, recipe, and diet breakdowns for each meal.
• Ensures delivery of optimal food quality, timely service, as well as high sanitation standards.
• Must be able to work at a constant pace to ensure that food is prepared and served on time for each meal of the day.
