Responsibilities

• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and effective meal production.
• Prepare all food items per menu requirements following designated recipes.
• Prepare plates and garnish food items for residents and guests.
• Coordinate food production with meal service hours to preserve quality, temperature, and appearance.
• Ensure food safety by monitoring temperatures and using proper food storage techniques in accordance with state and local standards.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area, cleaning cooking equipment and other kitchen areas as assigned.
• Possess food handler certification and knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule.
• Good communication skills.
