Job summary

Neuberger Specialty Finance, a rapidly growing group within Neuberger Alternatives, seeks a senior executive to serve as Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to the Head of Specialty Finance and the Private Markets COO, you will collaborate with investment, marketing, investor relations, legal & compliance, finance, operations, and technology to drive execution across key initiatives.

You will ensure data integrity, oversee marketing and investor communications, manage fund financing and liquidity

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in private markets, Specialty Finance/Asset-Based Finance, investment management, management consulting, or closely related field.
• Experience in COO, business management, strategy, or senior project management roles in alternatives or credit platforms.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders (investment, legal, finance, operations, technology, marketing).
• Experience with marketing and investor relations functions; ability to shape strategic messaging and upgrade processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Specialty Finance interface with the Private Markets COO, technology, data and support teams to ensure data integrity across funds, portfolios and investors.
• Drive implementation and alignment of the Specialty Finance business to the target operating model.
• Lead creation and timely delivery of client content and communications for investors and interact with prospects and investors as needed.
• Coordinate fund financing and liquidity management activities across evergreen vehicles, including leverage facilities and cash management needs.
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects across evergreen funds, financing considerations, reporting, and process improvements.
