Job summary

Bay Colony Search is helping a growing foodservice distributor find a hands-on operations leader. You'll run daily operations at our Miami headquarters—warehouse, routing, purchasing, deliveries, inventory, and fulfillment—and fix inefficiencies while keeping departments aligned.

This role blends operations with sales, building key accounts, shaping pricing, and negotiating. You’ll manage office, warehouse, and staff, report to ownership, and have a clear path to the CEO seat for top performers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proven record of leading teams and multiple departments.
• Sales-driven with strong operational chops.
• Experience managing a P&L, budgets, labor, margins and cash flow.
• Comfort on the warehouse floor interacting with employees at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and organizational instincts.
• Knowledge of purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operations at the Miami headquarters—warehouse, routing, purchasing, deliveries, inventory, and fulfillment.
• Fix inefficiencies and ensure cross-department communication.
• Sell and grow the business by building key accounts and helping with pricing/negotiations.
• Lead and develop office, warehouse, and operations staff; hold people accountable.
• Work closely with ownership to shape next growth phase; seat at the table, not just a title.
