Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a mission‑driven Chief Operating Officer to lead day‑to‑day execution of our fast‑scaling defense contracting business from our Hampton, VA HQ. This executive role focuses on building scalable operations, driving performance, enforcing accountability, and shaping culture aligned with Threat Tec's values.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in defense and GovCon operations, strong DoD contracting experience, and the ability to run complex service and product lines while

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations leadership within defense, GovCon, or federal services.
• Deep experience with DoD contracting, program delivery, and client expectations.
• Top Secret security clearance preferred (must be able to obtain)
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and CMMI frameworks
• Grounding in EOS or similar operational framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead Day-to-Day Operations across divisions (Ops, Security, IT, Engineering).
• Own the EOS Model; translate Vision into execution; run weekly Level 10 meetings and manage Rocks.
• Drive program execution and customer satisfaction; build scalable systems under pressure.
• Oversee KPIs and business cadence; dashboards, metrics, and performance reviews.
• Scale leadership and talent; mentor leaders and protect culture during growth.
• Ensure operational readiness; COOP, ISO, CMMI, and ITAR/DFARS compliance.
