The Conveyor Technician II - Night Shift position is responsible for ensuring that all facets of building maintenance are taken care of by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all facets of the (MHE) Material Handling Equipment system and Facilities Building Maintenance.
The Conveyor Technician II - Night Shift position is located in Litchfield Park, AZ.
You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
- Repair and make improvements to automation, MHE, building, and infrastructure.
- Use a CMMS (work order) system.
- Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in e-mail.
- Use strong interpersonal skills.
- Be safety-minded.
- Problem-solve/troubleshoot and understand resources to accomplish tasks.
- Gather needed materials to complete repairs/work orders.
- Accurately track and store the department's inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement within all departments.
- Be flexible with work hours and days (24/7 operation, including holidays).
- Be able to drive (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts.
- Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site, including Material Handling systems, Robotics systems, Electrical knowledge including controls, Lighting, Plumbing, Welding, Carpentry, and Pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment.
- Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians in repairing and maintaining Facilities.
- Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
- Understand how equipment, machines, and systems work and the ways to keep them running efficiently.
- Have a keen eye and attention to detail to identify small issues within the large system.
- Have the skills to be organized and prioritize tasks in alignment with company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in Maintenance, Automation, Supporting Material Handling Systems, and Facilities Building Maintenance.
We prefer some of these qualities as well….
- Trade School or equivalent preferred.

- Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and work around moving equipment – often while working in uncomfortable positions.
