Description

Responsibilities
- Repair and make improvements to automation, MHE, building, and infrastructure
- Use a CMMS (work order) system
- Effectively communicate verbally, written, and e‑mail
- Use strong interpersonal skills
- Be safety‑minded
- Problem‑solve, troubleshoot, and understand resources to accomplish tasks
- Gather needed materials to complete repairs/work orders
- Accurately track and store the department's inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
- Support continuous improvement within all departments
- Be flexible with work hours and days (24‑hour, 7‑day operation, including holidays)
- Be able to drive PID‑powered industrial trucks inclusive of people movers, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
- Required to take WSI certification and pass
- Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on‑site
- Material Handling systems
- Robotics systems
- Personalization equipment and systems
- Electrical knowledge including controls
- Lighting (interior and exterior)
- Maintain all rack and guard railings
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Carpentry
- Pneumatic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment
- Assist other Maintenance Technicians with repairs and maintenance of facilities and systems
- Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries
- Understand how equipment, machines, and systems work and keep them running efficiently
- Have a keen eye for identifying small issues within the large system
- Organize and prioritize tasks in alignment with company goals
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience supporting Material Handling Systems and/or Facilities Building Maintenance or related trade/technical school equivalency
- Onsite and in‑office role
- Flexibility with work hours and days (24‑hour, 7‑day operation, including holidays)
- Ability to drive PID‑powered industrial trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts
- Required to take WSI certification and pass
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in unusual positions
- Able to safely operate hand tools
- Can lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, pallet‑jacks, and hand‑carts
- Must tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment—often while working in uncomfortable positions
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, interior or exterior noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces
- Occasionally exposed to work requiring repetitive motion; noise level normally moderate
- Comfortable with walking/standing 100% of the day
