Job summary

Continental seeks an experienced technician to provide scheduled and emergency repairs to customer conveyor systems. You will perform mechanical, electrical, welding and hydraulic troubleshooting, read manuals and blueprints, and execute setup, inspection and preventive maintenance.

You must follow OSHA, MSHA and DOT regulations, coordinate with management for timely service, and document work performed. A high school diploma with 3–6 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with related manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and reading blueprints skills are required.
• Experience welding SMAW, GMAW and TIG; rigging and signal for hoisting operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduled and emergency repairs to conveyor systems.
• Reads equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance and ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, MSHA, DOT).
