Job summary

Skillforce is seeking an experienced Conveyor Millwright to perform mechanical installation, assembly, maintenance, repair, and alignment of conveyor systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on millwright with at least five years of installing and maintaining conveyors.

This is a 1st shift, full-time position in Memphis, TN, offering up to $32 per hour, depending on experience and skillset. Benefits and overtime opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• At least five years installing or maintaining conveyor systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to weld and fabricate as needed.
• Comfort working at heights in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, repair, and modify conveyor systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, layouts, and installation specifications.
• Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify causes of failures.
• Coordinate with foremen, electricians, and other trades to complete installations.
