Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of conveyance systems in a large fulfillment center. You will keep conveyors, motors, sensors, and related electronics operating safely and efficiently to support continuous distribution operations.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, servicing pneumatics, working with 480V motors, applying basic PLC knowledge, and welding or fabricating as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in industrial/fulfillment environments.
• Proficient with conveyors, motors, sensors, and photo eyes in automated material handling.
• Hands-on pneumatics in production/distribution settings.
• Ability to service 480V 3‑phase motors and perform basic wiring/repair.
• Basic PLC knowledge for diagnosing control systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on conveyance systems in a large fulfillment center.
• Troubleshoot conveyors and related equipment to minimize downtime and maintain material flow.
• Inspect and repair pneumatic components used in material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and service 480V, 3‑phase motors and perform basic wiring as needed.
• Apply basic PLC knowledge to diagnose control system issues.
