Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Pittsburgh is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop cost estimates and CAD drawings. This full-time role requires 3+ years of mechanical design and estimating experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical design experience.
• 3+ years estimating experience.
• 2–5 years CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive RFQs and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Create and update 2D/3D drawings.
• Perform material take-offs and analyze requirements.
• Interface with Purchasing for pricing input.
• Compile organized estimates and present data.
• Collaborate with teams to meet objectives.
• Work primarily on-site at the corporate office.
