Job summary

Fluent Conveyors, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and improve conveyor systems at our on-site manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Project Management to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to engineering standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of mechanical design experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design conveyor systems and related mechanical components using CAD software.
• Create manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop custom equipment solutions.
• Review customer specifications and ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Support manufacturing by resolving engineering and production issues.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.
• Assist with prototype testing and product validation.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when required.
