Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking personnel to monitor and inspect products on a fast-moving production line. The role involves spreading, packing, and moving items via pallet jacks, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Candidates should be able to handle lifting, standing for long periods, and operate on a line with temperature controls in a plant environment. OT may be available and adherence to GMP and related quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Palletjack certification for certain production workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the production process by spreading, inspecting and packing product.
• Stand by a continually moving conveyor to spread and inspect goods.
• Remove scrap product from sides of conveyer and place in inedible barrel.
• Pack products into boxes weighing 9–35 pounds depending on product.
• Pull boxes on a running conveyor, seal and stack on skids 4–6 ft high.
• Transfer product to freezer using pallet jacks.
• Report issues to lead/manager/supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
