Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking a packaging operator to operate production machinery and maintain a safe, efficient line in a cold plant environment.

You will perform changeovers, ensure correct materials, and follow GMP/SOP/HACCP standards to support continuous production. Minimum 1 year in food manufacturing and forklift/palletjack certification are required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in food manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work rapidly and with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery including forklifts, palletizers, bagger and case erectors.
• Check product specifications to ensure correct packaging materials and coding.
• Perform machine changeovers with minimal downtime and adjust equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, HACCP-compliant workplace and follow SOPs.
• Train other pack-out area employees on basic fault resolution and safety procedures.
• Use electric palletjacks to move packaging supplies and finished goods.
