Job summary

SPEC Building Materials in Clearwater, FL is seeking a safety-conscious CDL driver to locate and deliver building materials to job sites. You will perform DOT pre/post inspections, secure loads, and maintain trucks daily.

Responsibilities include operating equipment such as cranes and forklifts, supervising a material handler on rooftops, and capturing job-site photographs while obtaining customer signatures on sales orders. Strong customer service is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver building materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre and post DOT truck inspections.
• Secure loads on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and daily upkeep of trucks and equipment.
• Supervise material handler on rooftops when needed and capture job-site photos; obtain customer signatures on sales orders.
