Job summary

SPEC Building Materials in Clearwater, FL is seeking a safety-conscious CDL driver to locate and deliver building materials to job sites. You will perform DOT pre/post inspections, secure loads, and maintain trucks daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Must pass DOT physical examination and drug screen.
• Clean motor vehicle record required.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to walk on roofs and uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver building materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre and post DOT truck inspections.
• Secure loads on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and daily upkeep of trucks and equipment.
• Supervise material handler on rooftops when needed and capture job-site photos; obtain customer signatures on sales orders.
