Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician to fabricate and install conveyor belts and related industrial products. This role requires lifting heavy materials, traveling to multiple sites, and maintaining inventory. The work week is Monday–Friday with potential overtime and travel as needed.

You will operate light industrial equipment, assist with shipping/receiving, and contribute to a safety-conscious, team-based environment. AMMEGA offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and/or weekends.
• Industrial or production experience preferred.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; climbing may be required.
• Willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner and operating light industrial equipment.
• Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
• Ensuring timely shipping of belting product; receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to correct recipient.
• Maintaining shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
• Processing and maintaining reports.
• Traveling to various locations to install product. Occasional overnight travel required.
• Providing on-call assistance as required.
• Recognizing appropriate inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor, maintaining cycle counts log, and participating in once-a-year inventory.
