Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician in Richmond, VA to fabricate and install conveyor belts and related industrial products. You will operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contribute to safe and efficient production, and coordinate with supervisors on orders and scheduling.

Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining shipping/receiving, traveling to client locations for installations, and supporting inventory and reports.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check including MVR.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Strong fundamental math skills.
• Flexibility around scheduling – ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
• Previous industrial or production experience.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
• Ability to bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; climb as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in a safe and efficient manner and operate light industrial equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding orders, scheduling, and production issues.
• Ensure timely shipping of belting product; receive shipments and deliver to correct recipient.
• Maintain shipping/receiving area with needed supplies and update records.
• Process and maintain reports; travel to various locations to install product (overnight travel may be required).
• Provide on-call assistance as required and support inventory counts.
