Capital Rubber and Gasket is seeking a hardworking Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our Stockton location. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position supporting customers throughout Northern California.

This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor belt systems and related mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have practical mechanical experience and familiarity with welding, with the ability to perform simple field

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience and practical metalworking knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic field welds for belt scraper installations and repairs.
• Familiarity with conveyors and related components; welding certification not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor belt systems and related mechanical components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems with bearings, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and belt-related parts.
• Safely perform basic cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding as needed.
• Drive company vehicles and operate in varied industrial settings.
