Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Shop Belt Fabricator / Utility Field Service Technician for a temp‑to‑perm, full‑time position. The role combines shop belt fabrication with field service at customer sites across the region.

The ideal candidate will cut and prepare belts from bulk stock, operate fabrication equipment, perform quality inspections, and travel for installations after training. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and work with measurements (metric used).
• Experience with hand tools and basic fabrication processes.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for field service work.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate conveyor belts from bulk roll stock to finished dimensions.
• Operate shop fabrication equipment and cut belts as required.
• Inspect quality at each production stage and finalize with supervisor approval.
• Provide field service at customer sites, installations, and splice work after training.
