Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., is seeking a ThermoDrive Fabricator on the 2nd shift in Harahan, LA. You will fabricate ThermoDrive conveyor belting using plastic welding equipment and small tools, operate band saws and routers, and maintain clean, organized workstations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift ability, and manufacturing experience, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills, plus willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of operating a forklift and basic equipment.
• Manufacturing experience preferred and attention to detail necessary.
• Must pass a mechanical and mathematical aptitude test.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; self-managed and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating ThermoDrive conveyor belting using plastic welding equipment and small tools.
• Operating plastic welding equipment and setting up small equipment like a band saw.
• Handling belting throughout the operation and basic computer tasks.
• General housekeeping of the work area and performing odd jobs as needed.
