Job summary

Future PolyTech, Inc. in Coldwater, OH is seeking a Converting Set Up Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, adjust, and operate converting machines to produce high quality bags and sheets, following job orders, BOMs, and safety standards.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour for the 2nd shift; compensation increases based on experience and skill. The position includes medical, dental, and vision coverage and a strong 401(k) plan, with opportunities for growth and continual training.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Prior converting, printing, or related industry exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews work orders and schedules to determine job requirements.
• Sets up, adjusts, and operates machinery according to production specifications.
• Operates converting equipment to produce high-quality materials.
• Uses measurement tools to evaluate products and ensures specifications are met.
• Performs machine changeovers and equipment adjustments.
• Troubleshoots machine issues and escalates repairs.
• Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Completes training and shares improvements for safety and quality.
