Job summary

Future Polytech in Coldwater, OH is seeking a Plastics Extrusion Production Line Operator to run bag-making machines, set up lines with materials, and monitor process parameters to meet quality specs.

You will perform quality checks every 30 minutes, prepare packaging, complete daily production paperwork, and help with product changeovers while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Paid vacation starts day one, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Paid Vacation starting day one is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate bag machines and related manufacturing equipment to produce bags according to specifications.
• Read and verify line orders/dockets (BOMs) and set up lines with required materials.
• Perform quality checks every 30 minutes and document results.
• Prepare packaging materials for upcoming jobs and complete daily production paperwork.
• Assist with product changeovers and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate issues to supervision per chain of command.
• Participate in department activities to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
