Job summary

Resolute Tissue is seeking a Converting Dept – Converting Production Utility / Machine Operator to support 24/7 operations in a paper mill setting. You will set up machines, monitor production, and handle raw materials with attention to safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years as a machine operator, and familiarity with measurement tools and blueprints. Forklift experience is a plus and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; associate degree/technical certificate preferred.
• 1–3 years as a machine operator in manufacturing/warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of paper industry and reading blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and observe all safety rules around paper mill equipment.
• Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings and speed as needed.
• Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines and inspect parts with tools.
• Keep logs of approved/defective units and maintain cleanliness.
