Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Palatka, FL is seeking Production Converting Utility workers for a rotating 12-hour shift that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The role operates large equipment in a warm, non-climate controlled setting and offers a starting hourly rate of $21.82 with a competitive benefits package.

You will support turning giant rolls of paper into finished products, work around heavy machinery, and adhere to safety rules while using protective equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• One year or more of manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and troubleshoot a variety of machines.
• Work with computers and tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work on platforms 15 feet high.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
