Job summary

Itape is seeking a Converting Operator in Kentucky to operate and set up multiple converting machines and ensure production orders meet specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires troubleshooting equipment, performing quality checks, reading tape measures, and adhering to PPE requirements; lifting up to 50 lbs and working in temperatures above 95°F are expected in this on-site production position.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work in temperatures above 95°F.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery (Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter).
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency.
• Use PPE as required.
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor.
